Smoked Turkey bacon and spinach omelette.Dukan cruise

This is a quarter of the omelette that was made. My daughter and I were in a bit of a hurry to eat this delicious omelette...in fact I naïvely thought I was going to have it myself!
2 eggs

One and half teaspoons oat bran
A hand full of spinach drained and chopped
Four rashers of turkey bacon
Skimmed milk

I added these ingredients together and and put in a nonstick pan to make this delicious omelette.

Egg and chips on Dukan

I was out at the Soho Theatre seeing Fit and Proper written by Georgia Fitch. This is an excellent production.
Before eating the friends I was with and I wanted something to eat. The only Dukan option on the menu was egg and toast.... So I asked for this without the Toast: the lady who served me said I could have three eggs in that case. I like that when someone can think out of the box without having to consult their manager or embarrass the customer. I was expecting ... Oh no it comes with toast... We cannot do it without.

My friends ordered the chips and I was not tempted as I am usually very satisfied on Dukan.

If I was at home egg an chips would have been possible using roasted swede.

I must say that the hardest part of loosing weight is that photos show the truth.. Although clothes are loose the photo of night shows me as twice the size of my friends! I have lost 26.5 lbs and cannot really see any sign of this in the picture.

It is very discouraging when one has so much to loose. It is just as well it is not difficult on Dukan.

Dukan most important ingredient is not Oatbran ... But a non stick pan

I am so used to putting oil in my food and cooking on high that the non stick coating on my pan is no longer there. Hubby is always telling me to turn down the heat and I am somewhat stubborn. However on realising that this is the reason my Dukan  Gallettes were sticking  I invested in a Tefal Non stick pan.. one of those that has a colour changer to tell you when it is ready or not.. I even bothered to read the care instructions.

My new investment has assisted a lot with my cooking and also means that I am able to use less oil .. as Dukan suggests: adding a little drop of oil and then wiping it of with a kitchen towel.

Weight Converter

These sites are good for getting the ticker chart I use and also the other one is great for  weight converter. Weight Converter: I  find it usefull to keep a track on the computer of how much I weigh.

Make your own Sushi

Dukan states that although salmon has oil or fat it is no more than steak. I love sushi so I am glad we can have it on Both Attack and Cruise. Here I have thinly sliced some fresh salmon and added Wasabi. I did not have any sushi ginger but this would have been a addition. I used some light soy sauce to dip the salmon in after adding a little of the Wasabi ( beware this can be hot an only a little is needed)

When using soy sauce do remember that this is adding salt. If you find you are stagnating it is a good idea to look at your salt intake as this can lead up water retention.

Bacon and mushroom

Sainsburys do a lovely pack of be good bacon I added done mushrooms to it and found this really yummy

This is the bravest post I have ever written.. Of course I would love my blog to be a simple steady decline of my weight to a slender self with no blips.. But here is the reality.. And unlike other blogs you and I may have read on the internet I am determined to keep positing as Long as it takes me and not leave you wondering... what happened to her?
OOPs I have definitely knocked myself out of Ketosis by having a few biscuits and later followed on by Fish and chips.. I think that the problem with these dints is that you end up wanting everything you never even wanted before because you have-not had them in a while.. Anyway my weight loss journey continues. It is not the end.. I am contemplating what to do next.. My weight loss has been a bit slow OK ,, It was extremely fast at the beginning so I should expect that and I am toying with idea of doing some Biggest looser slimming sachets I have in the cupboard.. Well it would be a waste anyway if I did not use them..
This is the problem with being overweight and the commercialism of diets,, One want to try everything and indeed everything works but it depends on YOU. Anyway I will keep you posted. I suppose the honeymoon period of the diet has worn off and the weather changing has not helped.

Chicken and swede curry cooked with tea for a Dukan Cruise breakfast

This curry was made by adding chopped onions to cubes of swede sweating the onions on cold tea.. Although water will do it's just what I handy ! Adding curry powder, garlic and chillies with cooked chicken. This was cooked for 6 minutes.

I enjoyed this for breakfast!!

I know it sounds unusual but I am just about to attend a McMillan coffee morning and wanted to be sure I was filled and satisfied before I liked at all the cakes

Be Good on Dukan?

Account overview - Account Settings:

'via Blog this'

I try really hard but have found myself wanting sweet things which is unlike me.. I succumbed to some sweet waffles that no-one else in the family would eat, and the crumbs from some biscuits I made. I then realised that the reason why was more to do with my monthly cycle..I wish I had known this and had made the Dukan Cheesecake.

Dukan states that a woman can fluctuate by up to 4lbs when they are near their cycle.. I certainly noticed this with step aerobics I was doing on the scales. I am really trying not to weigh myself every day as this distorts the true picture and can affect my mood too.

Anyway the Fromage Frais I use is form the BE GOOD range in Sainsbury's and I wish I had read the label and taken heed of eh 0% fat dairy product.
Anyway I also listed to Fly Lady Pod cast and they talk about how one set back does not have to mean the end or cost you lots more pounds than the actual item.. So I am going to be nice to me and have three pure protein days to get myself on track.

Yummy Squash

Thank goodness Pumpkins,Marrows and Squash are on the Dukan List. Hubby has ordered a squash box from Riverford Organic who deliver and left it on the draining board for me to see.. This is the nearest I get to a bouquet arrangement because of my Hayfever.
We will probably save these for when the weather gets so bad that there is a dearth of vegetables.. they are lovely as Tempura .. but that defeats the object of dieting! I will make soup but adding on
ions and simmering with stiock or perhaps a curry

I Have put on Weight !!

Oh no the scales are moving up.. Up.. That’s not what I expect on a diet.. I am tired and have not had a Bowel movement for so long I cannot count.

I am still going to carry on as what I have read suggest that this can occur when the body has lost a lot of weight.. Anyway.. It serves me right for weighing every day.. I am going to try and weigh once a week.. Especially now its not so exciting to jump on the scales and see the weight go up!!
I am also very tires.. I cannot blame it on the diet only because I Have also was having only 5 hours sleep on some days due to work commitments.
